It is usually made out of a mixture of Birds Eye Chilli, Red Chilli, Red Onion, Garlic, Dried Anchovies, Sugar, Salt And Food Additive From Permissible Plant Sources. The mixture is then pounded or blended into a paste to be eaten with chicken, beef, lamb or fish. The ingredients may vary from one kitchen to another but the taste is still the same. For some this is comfort food as it goes well with hot steamed rice, bread, pasta, noodles, fried chicken, beef ribs, lamb and fish. Because of the spicy sauce, the dish Ayam Penyet (smashed chicken) has become so popular worldwide. Has a shelf life of 2 years. This is a joint effort by Muslim entrepreneurs. We produce in small scale for better quality control and has been around in local market for two years and now confident to pursue for bigger markets. We grow our black ginger only using the rhizomes and hygienically dry them using low temperature food dehydrator. After that the dried pieces of the rhizomes are turned to powder with minimal process to keep the nutrients. Then, it is inserted into halal capsules. The reason for packaging in capsules is for the convenience to control the dosage of taking this powerful herb. The capsules contain only single ingredient, we do not use fillers in our products.
