Let’s Make Prawns With Pineapples In Bird’s Eye Chilli Curry In 20 Minutes.
Ingredients:
- 500 g medium sized prawns (Clean, de-vein and wash the prawns with the tail intact. Leave it on a paper towel to remove moisture)
- ½ cup of of ‘Waghih Foods’ Bird’s Eye Chilli Curry Paste (Use at your discretion after doing a taste test)
- ¼ cup chopped pineapples slices
- Water or coconut milk
- Oil
Method:
- Pour some oil in a heated wok or pan. Pan fry the prawns in batches until both sides are cooked well. Remove from pan and leave it on a paper towel to cool.
- In the same pan or wok where the prawns were seared, pour in the ½ cup of of ‘Waghih Foods’ Bird’s Eye Chilli Curry Paste. Give a good mix. If you find the paste too thick, add some water to thin it.
- Throw in the pineapple slices and mix well with the sauce. Now add the pan fried prawns and mix again. Ensure that the prawns and pineapples are coated with this yummy sauce.
- Do a taste test to see if it suits your palate. You can adjust accordingly with more paste or water. To make it more richer you can use some coconut milk instead of water.
- Let it simmer for a minute or 2. There is no necessity to cook for long as all ingredients are pre-cooked.
- Switch off the flame and plate the dish.
- Serve it with rice, bread or even noodles.
