Rendang powder is a spice blend or seasoning mix commonly used in Indonesian and Malaysian cuisine to prepare rendang, a traditional and highly popular dish in the region. Rendang is a rich and flavourful beef stew that originated from the Minangkabau ethnic group of West Sumatra, Indonesia. It’s known for its tender meat and complex, aromatic flavours.
Ingredients:
1. Coriander
2. Fennel
3. Cumin
4. Chilli
5. Ginger
Product Guide:
1. Prepare and blend shallot/onion, garlic, ginger, and galangal in water
2. Add the blended paste with rendang powder by Mira Hani Enterprise
3. Saute the mixed paste (continously stir), and add lemongrass until fragrant and slightly brown
4. Add chicken/meat. Pour 1 cup of water. Wait until boils.
5. Add 1 cup of coconut milk, tamarind paste, julienned turmeric leaf and kaffir lime leaf
6. Add salt to taste. Bring it to boil under low flame until the sauce is thick.
7. Ready to serve.
