Oh my goodness… this is an absolutely delicious condiment. You’ve never tasted anything quite like it! It’s crispy, spicy and able to be enjoyed straight out of the bottle. Sambal Pucuk Ubi is a traditional Malaysian accompaniment for a meal with rice. One may also enjoy it with bread, biscuits, glutinous rice, pasta and rice noodles. You could even mix it with your mashed potatoes to spice it up and add that little extra crunch. It’s made with a whole host of goodness including the young tender shoots of the cassava leaf, soybeans, dried anchovies, onions and of course chillies.
