2 simple steps in cooking with ‘Dappo’ Nyonya Rendang Paste:
Ingredients:
- 1 pack ‘Dappo’ Rendang Paste
- 500g of chicken, meat or seafood (wash and clean it thoroughly)
- Turmeric leaves (thinly sliced)
- Toasted grated coconut
- 120g thick coconut milk
Method:
- Heat up 150g of ‘Dappo’ Nyonya Rendang Paste in a wok or pan.
- Add in 500g of chicken, meat or seafood (prawn, squid)
- Add in 120g of coconut milk. Stir and blend well until the meat is tender and the liquid has evaporated.
- Add in the toasted grated coconut and give a final mix.
- Garnish with turmeric leaves.
Estimated cooking time: 15 – 20 minutes (this excludes preparation time).
Storage of ‘Dappo’ Nyonya Rendang Paste: Keep in a cold and dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight. Cook and consume immediately after opening the paste pack and refrigerate the balance.
