Serunding (Floss), also known as meat floss, is a dried meat product with a light and fluffy texture similar to coarse cotton. Floss is used as a topping for many foods, such as congee, tofu and savoury soy milk. It is also used as a filling for various savoury buns and pastries. It pairs well as a topping for baked goods filled with bean paste.

We have been in the serunding industry since 1976 where we market Serunding products (ie Meat, Chicken and Fish) within the village and surrounding areas in Kg. Laut Tumpat Kelantan but selling on and off mode at first.
With string it can help increase appetite. Serunding is also a traditional Malay cuisine that can be eaten with many menus such as hot rice, porridge, glutinous rice, sushi, bread as a sandwich and so on.
In Kelantan KG. LAUT TUMPAT can be said to be well-known and famous as a place for producing serundi. Usually people who want to travel or perform Umrah and Hajj will bring this serunding supply because it lasts for about a year at room temperature without having to put it in the refrigerator.
In 2000, my family started marketing this serunding product in Pasir Mas, Kuala Krai, Kota Bharu and outside Kelantan. In 2010 we marketed our products in the Klang Valley, Kuala Lumpur especially during the month of Ramadhan.
In 2016 until now, under Richness Foods Industry we market our serunding with the brand HajiWan Serunding Kg. Sea and target our customers throughout the state and in the near future in overseas markets, God willing. (ASEAN Countries)
