This sweet dessert has many variations from many countries. But whatever the differences maybe it is just a sweet delicacy served at the start or end of any occasion to put a big smile on every face.

What are the things you can do with HALWA MASKAT KILA?

  1. You Can Just Simply Cut Them Into Cubes And Enjoy

This is something Asians do when they receive a big block of halwa. Just cut them up into bite size squares and savour it when you feel like having a sweet treat after a meal.

  1. You Can Bake With It

Most of you would be surprised with this but you can actually bake with ready to eat halwa.

Make brownies ā€“ Whip up your favourite brownie batter or store bought brownie batter and drop thin slices of halwa inside it before baking. You would taste the immediate difference when you take your first bite.

Toping for chocolate tart ā€“ Prepare your chocolate tart as usual. As a final touch cut thin strips of halwa and cover the top of the chocolate tart. Once its comes out of the oven, you would notice a visible difference in the tart.

Muffins ā€“ Prepare your muffin batter. Line a muffin tin with paper cups. Drop a square halwa in each muffin paper cup. Cover the halwa with the muffin batter. Bake and serve. You would see the joy on peoples face when they eat the muffin and ask what was the yummy gooey thing in the middle.

  1. You Can Fry It

Cut your halwa into your desired shapes using cookie cutters. Prepare a batter using rice flour. Dip the halwa in it and immediately fry. Serve it while still hot. It gives a chewy texture.

  1. You Can Cut It Into Thin Slices And Make It As Toppings For Ice Cream And Desserts

You can use halwa as a topping for ice cream and desserts of your choice. Decadently top them and drizzle with chocolate sauce.

  1. You Can Cut It Into Rectangular Pieces And Roll Them On Seeds And Nuts

Prepare some seeds and nuts of your choice. Coarsely chop them. Drop each piece of halwa and coat it with the seeds and nuts. Shake off excess nuts and immediately roll it in square pieces of cut aluminum foil or wax paper. Refrigerate and enjoy as a sweet.

Melt some chocolate. Drop each piece of halwa and coat it with the chocolate. Shake off excess chocolate Ā and immediately roll it in square pieces of cut aluminum foil. Refrigerate and enjoy as a sweet.
