The instant cooking paste is a liquid mixture of onion, chilli, ginger and some other ingredients used in cooking. The pasteurization process is also carried out on this instant paste to make the paste able to last for 6 months to a year at room temperature. It also simplifies the task of cooking and saves time and energy when preparing food.

Ummi Happy Enterprise produced under the brand of Cik Esah's instant paste is also available in 4 types, namely sour and sour paste, ibu sambal paste, tom yam paste and rendang paste.

The paste can be cooked using beef, chicken or cockle.
