Dried Fish Crackers (Keropok)Ā  are made in the coastal state of Terengganu, in West Malaysia.

How to prepare these fish crackers:

  1. Pour oil into a wok and heat it up. Ensure that the flame is on medium/slow heat.

  2. Drop the fish crackers in batches and deep fry for about 30 secs or until they puff up crispy.

  3. Drain excess oil on a paper towel and serve

  4. Goes well with homemade sambal (spicy sauce) or store-bought chilli sauce.
