‘Cik Yut’ Sizzling Yee Mee (Noodles) Paste is a ready to cook recipe specially created for people who are away from Malaysia and miss this awesome and tantalizing soy sauce noodle dish. The paste allows you to whip up this mouth-watering comfort food with ease as there would be no pounding and grinding involved.
How to cook with ‘Cik Yut’ Sizzling Yee Mee (Noodles) Paste?
Ingredients:
½ Pack Of ‘Cik Yut’ Sizzling Yee Mee Paste
1 to 2 packs of instant noodles of your choice (udon, rice vermicelli, egg noodles)
1 Egg (Crack it and leave it in a bowl)
1 Piece Of Chicken (Wash, Clean And Slice Into Bite Size Pieces. Leave It Aside)
1 Stalk OF Mustard Green (Wash, Clean And Cut Into Bite Size Pieces)
½ Carrot (Wash, Clean And Cut Into Bite Size Pieces)
250 Ml Of Water
Spring Onions, Roughly Chopped For Garnish
Method:
- Pour the 250 ml of water in a pot and let it boil on the stove.
- When the water has boiled, add in the chicken pieces and let it to cook for a minute.
- Next, add in the ‘Cik Yut’ Sizzling Yee Mee (Noodles) Paste. Give a good stir.
- Then add in the noodles of your choice. Let it cook for a minute or 2.
- Finally add in the egg, carrots and mustard greens. Let the noodles, chicken and vegetables to cook well in the soy sauce mixture. All it needs is another minute or 2.
- Check to see if the noodles and chicken are cooked. If all are cooked well, you can switch off the stove.
- Plate this yummy soy sauce noodle dish in a bowl and garnish with some spring onions.
