‘Cik Yut’ Sizzling Yee Mee is a ready to cook recipe specially created for people who are away from Malaysia and miss this awesome and tantalizing soy sauce noodle dish. It comes complete with the noodles and paste needed to make this mouth-watering comfort food that most Malaysians turn to on a cold day.
How to cook this ‘Cik Yut’ Sizzling Yee Mee (Noodles)
Ingredients:
1 Pack Of ‘Cik Yut’ Sizzling Yee Mee (Noodles)
- Noodles
- Paste
1 Egg (Crack it and leave it in a bowl)
1 Piece Of Chicken (Wash, Clean And Slice Into Bite Size Pieces. Leave It Aside)
1 Stalk OF Mustard Greens (Wash, Clean And Cut Into Bite Size Pieces)
½ Carrot (Wash, Clean And Cut Into Bite Size Pieces)
250 Ml Of Water
Spring onions, roughly chopped for garnish
Method:
- Pour the 250 ml of water in a pot and let it boil on the stove.
- When the water has boiled, add in the chicken pieces and let it to cook for a minute.
- Next, add in the paste from the ‘Cik Yut’ Sizzling Yee Mee (Noodles) pack. Give a good stir.
- Then add in the noodles that came with the pack. Let it cook for a minute or 2.
- Finally add in the egg, carrots and mustard greens. Let the noodles, chicken and vegetables to cook well in the soy sauce mixture. All it needs is another minute or 2.
- Check to see if the noodles and chicken are cooked. If all are cooked well, you can switch off the stove.
- Plate this yummy noodle soup in a bowl and garnish with some spring onions.
