Satay consists of 2 parts - the barbequed meat or chicken and the mildly spiced peanut sauce. The barbequed meat or chicken comes in the form of small marinated pieces of meat grilled on a bamboo skewer and served with a spiced peanut sauce that is typically flavoured with lemon grass. SF Samudra Venture's satay sauce originates from Pulau Penang (Penang Island). It is a famous food-centric island on the west coast of Malaysia. Both meat marinade and the peanut sauce are included in separate packs. These products are made without the use of chemicals or artificial colouring.
